Boston Tea Party Rum Cocktail

May 11, 2009 by Luke Leave a Comment

Does anyone feel like a tea party? Perhaps a… Boston Tea Party?! Well seeing it’s the cocktail month of May we’re going to be sharing some cocktails for you to try. Our Mojito recipe is getting lonely and it’s time we added another rum cocktail, so today it’s the Boston Tea Party.

Lets get into it!

Boston Tea Party

You will need:

  • Whiskey
  • Gin
  • Vodka
  • Cinnamon Liquor
  • Punt e Mes (Italian vermouth)
  • some orange juice
  • coca cola.
  • And of course your favourite Dark Rum.

It’s pretty easy to put together, simply mix 15ml (half an ounce) of each of the spirits into a cocktail shaker with about 150ml (5 oz) orange juice and shake/mix well. Strain over ice into a Collins glass and add a splash of coke to finish.

Variations include the addition of 15ml orange liquor and swapping in coffee liquor (such as Tia Maria or Kahlua in place of Cinnamon liquor)

Enjoy!
